I was out for a walk and some guys dog ran up to me off leash to let me pet him and the guy kept saying "leave it" am I that ugly that I can't even identify as a woman, I'm an it now?

"Leave it" is a common command dogs are trained for. It means stop whatever they are doing. The command was for the dog, not you.

One should never approach a dog without asking the owner. Simply ask, "Can I pet your dog?"and then approach the dog only if the owner replies "Yes".

Since dogs don’t actually speak English the owner is forced to use the trigger phrases that the dog was trained to.


But the fact that you came such a grim conclusion indicates you do have self esteem issues
