Like everything in life there are those that will and will not like that type of person. Some people can't tolerate that type of personality while others have no problem. It is no different than other traits people can or cannot deal with. If you are okay being alone I am not sure the point of this question. There is nothing wrong with being alone if that is your preference. I am not sure what you mean by you scare people either. Simply being quiet isn't scary in itself. The biggest thing to remember is that you are who you are and don't try to change yourself for someone. That rarely works out because people revert to their natural personality after a while of trying to hide it.
