Guys, do you mind when a girl often texts first?

There's a guy I'd like to get to know better. Whenever I send a message first, we often just keep talking and he keeps the conversation going but I'm usually the one that starts talking first. I don't mind it but I'm afraid I'll be bothering him by sending a message.

I don't mind as long as she don't get impatient when I don't respond immediately. Sometimes I'm having some time to myself and I don't respond to no one including my parents.
