Guys, do you resent friends who don't find excuses to spend time with you unless it's for a specific hobby?

If the hobby you share is a seasonal sport, that may mean that the two of you only hang out for a couple of months a year, despite all the deep conversations you have during that time, that should make them want to call you more often throughout the year, but they never do.

No.. a friend is a friend regardless of if we are close or not..
As long as someone is friendly and nice to me I have no issues with them. And like someone said if you guys don't hangout very much that is more of an acquaintance than an actual friend.

Not really. At my age I'm kinda busy and I don't like friendships to encroach on my time too much. Would be good to send a hey how are you every couple of months tho between meeting for an occasion.

Not really. For example, I have firends who are in their 60's and older who are into chess, but I would not expect them to go surfing or go on long distance runs with me.

No, I don't resent friends like that We spend time together when we both like it, nothing wrong with that.

Scheduling is hard, especially if you’re trying to balance so many parts of your life. It might be frustrating, but I won’t resent them for prioritizing their life and making sure everything is in order. I can’t assume they have the same free time I do.
