Should I follow him?

There is a young guy (very early 20's) that works at a auto store in my town. I don't go there a lot but when I do, I often see him. Everytime I go there, he stares at me. I will walk up to the door and he spots me and just stares while trying to bag the people's stuff still. I'll be in the store and he stares, not every second, but a lot. (Unless I go there with my dad, he doesn't look at me.) I usually glance at him a little but don't stare back. There have been times where we made eye contact and held it, but not a lot. I saw his name tag and I think he's super cute, I'd love to get to know him, so I searched his name on instagram and found his profile. I want to follow him but am not sure if it could come off as creepy since I have never spoken to him all we've done is seen eachother. We also don't have any mutual friends at all so that's another thing I feel might appear strange if I followed him. Could it come off as weird if I follow him, or since he stares so much could it be fine?

No, don’t randomly follow him. That’s going to come off as creepy because you haven’t talked to him irl and he will know you stalked him online.


Instead talk to him irl. It doesn’t have to be a long conversation since he is at work but it could be something as simple as saying : “hi, I noticed you wear ____, shoes. I’m thinking of buying them for my cousin, do you like them?”


You don’t even need a line like that. Just say hi and make a reference to an item in the store you can both see. Point being he sees you, so say hi and start a short conversation. Then next time talk a bit more.

Umm haha I'm not sure maybe 😅 I have never spoken to him so i dont know how he would react
