I accidentally blocked the guy I like on instagram, but now thinking about that, I just realize that it was a dumb decision and immature of me to do that. I have unblocked him already, but since his account is private, which means I have to send a request to follow him. I have no idea what is the good excuse to tell him. I used to like him, but I decided to uncrush him just simply because it was a one sided crush, it was really hard to stop liking him, but I have to. He didn’t know my feelings, I was planning to tell him my feelings, but I don’t think it would be worth it, so I just swallowed the feelings and learned to accept it. Now I don’t really have any feelings for him. I will continue to be friend with him and treat him like I used to before. Would it be weird if I send him a request to follow him back on Instagram?

If you send a request he won't care.. Unless he genuinely doesn't like you, but why would you want to add him back? I say leave it and move on you can still be friends without following each other on Insta.
