Mental health, oooh whoops women deal with that too.

Addiction, oooh whoops women deal with that too.

Bullying, Sexual Abuse, Neglect, Sexism, etc.

Basically, men tend to not want to talk about these when it affects themselves though I want to say to all men you are worthy of a voice, you are worthy of support, and you are an incredible, inspirational, amazing human being capable of so much. Believe in yourself and find your voice to better your mental health & the mental health of fellow men, move from addiction to getting help to eventually healing, speak up against bullying and create safe havens for those persecuted like those of sexual orientation/self identity, Do a #MeToo for men since their encounters & your encounters matter, lift yourself up, showcase hurtful stereotypes and undo the damage they cause by speaking out.

@msc545 That might be true for some women, but not for all, and individuals like OP make things tough for themselves. It's hard to be pleasant anymore because of their attitude towards women. Women aren't to blame for his inability to find love, are they?

@RageBabe Women control access to sex and yes, they are to blame for many men going without sex. For most women, sex is transactional.

That's not true; it's easier for men. I don't recall straight men being in the prostitution business the same way that women are, and well, they cater to men, so it's much easier for men to at least get laid. I'm not sure where you came up with the idea it was for women.

A woman can get sex with one phone call or a quick trip to a bar. A man cannot generally do anything this easy at all.

Most important issue? Hmm probably the lack of support for men who struggle with depression and the social expectations to "man up" and not talk about your struggles.

Its a long road to undo decades of generational trauma but once you start undoing it in yourself you can undo it in your children. In the mean time having open conversations with someone you trust about your struggles is a good place to start.

I listed some of these in another question but

Being falsely accused
Being rape victims and it not being taken seriously
Having their children taken away from them
Their mental health not being taken seriously
Expectations of men to be more masculine but at the same time shooting down masculinity

It's a long list but those are just the few I could think of.

I'd say unprecedented financial expectations and lack of emotional support to go along with it. You know how many times I've been called a waste of air because I'm not a homeowner? I don't even like saying that myself, but the truth is that everything is too damn expensive. People expect me to be making twice as much as the median salary, and that's just "bare minimum" as they say online. Then when I don't feel appreciated or I feel disrespected, I'm the problem. Every single time without fail. I got stood up at a concert (tickets were expensive as hell too) and all my female friends unanimously agreed that I did something wrong... didn't even ask me. So yeah those two

Being told to ‘man up’ when faced with difficulties with health, both mental and physical. My ex’s best friend recently died from testicular cancer because he didn’t get checked out when he should’ve, due to other men in his family telling him that he shouldn’t worry and to just ‘brush it off and be a man’. That sort of mindset gets passed down through generations and it needs to stop. Men’s health is important and it should be taken seriously when there’s a concern.
