Sounds like it , because not hearing from someone in 7 years is a long time , so he is now saying this to you after all that time? So just take it as a friendly compliment but don’t assume he wants more with you than friendship , when a guy really likes a girl he doesn’t disappear for that long without keeping in touch

Yes I liked him for years… he made me nervous or I felt like he was trying to play me or something… he kept liking my pics and watching my stories but never reached out
He only commented on my post at 3am about basketball since he plays basketball
So it’s clearly up to you if you want to give this guy a chance , I can’t make that decision for you
But that was in 2017… I had accidentally sent a drunk dm to him saying fuck you and I tried apologizing… but he never responded
In 2021 I had a dream that we reconciled and not much later he text me and sent me that Thanksgiving text and said love you but you’re right… it’s not romantic…
