What could it mean if a guy has set times when to call you?

For example, he will call me from 10pm to 11 PM. And 3:00 PM through 4:00 PM every day in the day time. Long distance relationship. Is that a red flag?

My fiancé and I were long distance. Our phone calls usually coincided with our work schedules. I work the graveyard shift at my job, and he works the swing shift at his, so our calls took place during his break time before I headed off to work. If he’s scheduling what time he calls, I wouldn’t consider that a red flag. You can always ask him why he calls you at those particular times.

Well you can look at it two different ways you can look at it that he's making that time so he knows for sure that you're going to be there because he really wants to talk to you


Or he's making it the time that is better half is not going to be around so she can't hear him talking to you the way he wants to talk to you so I understand your curiosity and your thought but there are other ways to tell if that's true or not

well some people have jobs where they can't just answer the phone whenever they want to. also some people like "me time" to not be interrupted. i don't think this is a problem. i actually think this is more of a green flag, cause this seems like someone who has their shit together.

That sounds nice to me. It’s like he’s set times around himself to simply focus on you. It sounds like a red flag to some but I think it’s a nice gesture. Especially if there is time zones difference.

Be thankful he calls you regularly at those set times. He could decide he's just too busy.

Do you know what this guy does for a living? Do you know what his hours are?

Maybe 10pm to 11pm and 3pm to 4pm are when he gets his breaks at work, or when he's driving to/from work, or something like that.

There's a six hour block between 4pm and 10pm. Maybe that's his work shift?

It's not even a flag... it's called a schedule. He can't have you calling when he might be with other women... the other girls will know he's cheating on them.
