I’ve worked in 4 different jobs over the years and I’ve honestly been kinda surprised by the number of my male coworkers that have gone to strip clubs (I learned this through small talk)

I’ve never been to one myself tho and neither do I really know what goes on there or feel that interested in going to one.

But I get the impression that a lot of men go to them with their buddies just because its like a “haha dude we ACTUALLY went to a strip club and Johnny got wasted” kind of thing.

Anyway, it seems really fcking dumb to me to just pay to see women dance or whatever but IDRK.

What are the reasons guys go?

And is it usually dudes going alone or just guys going with their friends to just try and mock eachother and have a laugh?

I suppose it can but I'd guess the guy would have to pay extra for that. Not like at a girl's strip show!! The one's I've seen: the guys come out on stage almost completely naked from the start and after a few dance moves, they strip completely naked!! I know but, like I said, I've been to at least 3 and nobody made a sound while she was on. A girl I went to college with was a stripper and she invited me to one of her shows and nobody there made any noise. a few years later, I auditioned as a DJ at a strip club and I never heard much, if any yelling when she came out and I even told the audience to make some noise for her! I think it's something to do with "female nudity creates male docility".
