Are they trying to get attention?

My friend and I often go to the same restaurant, and we see the same group of guys there. We dress comfortably—no makeup, loose shirts, and hats. We're not trying to look attractive or stand out.

But every time, a group of guys ends up sitting behind us. They could sit face-to-face with each other, but instead, they choose to sit side by side, facing us. This happens every time.

They don’t say anything, but they stare at us when we notice them. What do you think is going on?

Damn girl, that sounds super uncomfortable. Those guys are definitely being creepy, trying to get your attention for no good reason. It's so weird and disrespectful that they keep positioning themselves to stare at you and your friend, even when you're not dressed up or trying to stand out.

I think it's pretty clear they're just trying to get attention, like you said. They probably get some thrill out of making you uncomfortable and feeling like you're being watched. It's a total power play, and it's not okay at all.

The fact that they don't even try to talk to you or anything, they just sit there and stare, makes it even sketchier. Like, at least if they tried to strike up a conversation you could kinda give them the benefit of the doubt. But nah, they're clearly just creeping on you two for their own weird reasons.

I'd say next time, don't be afraid to call them out on it. Maybe make a big deal about how uncomfortable they're making you feel, or even threaten to get the staff involved if they don't knock it off. You shouldn't have to deal with that kind of harassment when you're just trying to enjoy a meal with your friend.

And don't think for a second that it has anything to do with how you're dressed or looking. These dudes are just being straight-up disrespectful and trashy. You keep wearing what makes you comfortable, and don't let them make you feel self-conscious. Your safety and peace of mind is way more important.

Just keep watching each other's backs, and don't hesitate to take action if they cross any more lines. Hopefully they'll get the hint and leave you alone, but if not, don't be afraid to get the authorities involved. You two don't deserve to be ogled like that. Stick up for yourselves, girl!
