Like many women, I have much too often chosen the wrong guy. I have been wrong about a guy liking me in the way I like him and for the first time I think I actually may not be wrong about what I’m seeing that makes me conclude that he’s actually interested in me. There’s this guy. We have worked together for a year now. Although he’s attractive we kept the relationship friendly. He did openly admit that he thought I looked good when he first met me but he didn’t make a move. He said he assumed we would just have a brother/sister kind of relationship and we have. No lines have even been crossed but lately he has been doing and saying more things subtly that lets me know he’s feeling me more than just a sister/friend. If I’m being honest I’ve grown more attracted to him beyond that as well but like I said, who wants to ruin a solid relationship that you already have with someone? He’s become very protective of me but not I a controlling way. When other guys from work come up and talk to me or hug me he gives off a vibe. Not a necessarily jealous but very watchful vibe. Most recently he called out a guy that was flirting with me. He didn’t say it to him but he said it to me instead. His exact words were”He’s just flirting with you. He better gone with all of that.” And he always ask if I ate and offers me food/lunch. He consistently checks on me throughout the shift. He makes comments about us going out together outside of work. Most recently he asked me had I ever had a lemon drop when I told him I had he told me he and I were gonna have to go to the bar together one day. For once, I don’t think I’m being delusional so lol. What do you guys think?

Also yesterday when we’re walking out of work together, he pulled out his phone. He had the camera open and asked for me to take a selfie with him. The picture came out cute and the gesture itself was ever random and cute.
