Guys, Guys... Is it true guys never get compliments and when they do they remember it for the rest of their life?

I am really curious about this. I have asked many people before and they always say "I don't know", what's your guy's opinions?

It's true for me. I'm a very isolated and introverted person, so I probably get less opportunities than most people. I remember every time a women has complimented me, but unfortunately I dropped the ball every time. I think I'm intimidating because of my size and physique, but my personality is the opposite. I do get a lot of stares from women. However, nothing has ever cone from that.

Yeah, compliments are rare from women but they're always well-received. I don't know about remembering them forever, but they stick with you for a long time.

Well "for ever" is a bit of an exaduration. But yeah it's fairly rare.

I've had maybe 5 this year, and I can remember them all quite well. Good year for complements this year. Lol

I do. It's good to keep tract of what others say good about you as that can remind yourself you aren't as bad as you think.

Remember for life? I do if it is something I earned. If it's at a gig about my playing or singing, yes. If it's about my height or eye color, no, as I had nothing to do with those.

Yes, it is extremely rare to get genuine compliments such that those I do receive may remembered long term.
This arrangement encourages me to focus on my own voice, my own determination, and my own emotional centre rather than those around me.
