Guys, Do guys care about the small things?

I have a crush on my guy friend. I don't know if he does too. Anyways he has been on a vacation for 3 weeks visiting his family in the Philippines. We haven't texted the last week bc I'm not trying to be annoying while he's with family.

today was my bday and he sent me a "happy birthday" text. He doesn't have any social media to be able to be reminded its my bday. I did tell him a few weeks before he left on his trip, that my bday was the 22nd. I am somewhat shocked he even remembered on his own.

Am I looking into this too much? Any thoughts

Well it does depend on the guy but most people appreciate small gestures. I will say though if you’re into him tell him and see when he has time if he’s willing to grab coffee or something.

You can forever wonder what could have been but if he does like you keep in mind that attraction can come and go. Sometimes someone (including yourself) can like one person one day but those feelings can fade especially if someone else comes into the picture. It can happen to him as well he could find someone else if someone else doesn’t find him. Don’t assume you’re the only girl whose into him.

I know rejection is scary but if he respects you and likes you genuinely even as a friend he will be kind about it. You’ll for one thing have closure and the other thing is…. While it sucks you can move on. No longer do you have to waste your time on someone whose not into you that way.
