BUT (I lately answer this, so I just c&p my answer about a girl who was wondering if the boys attention to detail ment something):
maybe he is a guy who is a lot into pop culture, or very much into details, but I assure such a man is VERY UNUSUAL, and even then if would be hard to believe a man remembers "this song that always comes on when you are around" my best friend is a girl, you ladies are much, MUCH more into details than us, while I really love my best friend I do not remember X or Y song, I do not remember the 1st movie we saw together, hey! I don't even remember the last one :P, nor what she wore yesterday, I don't know the brithday of any of her brothers and DO NOT CARE, but MY GF, I remember our 1st movie together as much as the last one, I remember what she was wearing while watching that 1st movie, I remember the 1st song we heard together and the last I heard as her ringtone, I know the full list of her favorite perfumes, and even her soap, no, I am NOT a guy who cares a lot for details, I have a lousy memory, I am not even able to tell my cell phone number by memory, but I know that much details about her because I TRULY, DEEPLY LOVE her, and yes, even from early on in the relationship I was very tuned to everything we shared, she seemed special back then, nowshe is even more, but yes, as careless as I usually am, our 1st date is burned in my memory, so if this guy, not only pays attention to the song, but brings the topic to the table twice, I BET he is genuinely interested.
so basically, weare not into details, much like most girls are not into.. hmm... kickboxing? car engines? -fill the blanc with anything that you know little about and don't care to know more- but when a peron matters, then details of her matter too, is not normal for us, we have to go out of our ways to break the pattern and start paying attention to details that seemed irrelevant, and very likely ARE irrelevant to us, but become relevant because we share them with her, I know exactly what hair color my girl likes, even though he does not usually dye it and last time was long ago, but I don't know the color of my cousins hair and she died it today, I mean the exact name, I know the name and color-code of the dye, but only go into that much detail with HER an no one else.
Here's a rundown of what we do and don't notice:
Make-up brand change- No
Painted Nails- No
Acrylic nail art link - yes, but it's a bit much.
Weight loss or gain- Not unless it's more than 5 lbs
New outfit- Yes
New shirt- no
Painted toenails- no
Shaved legs- yes, if we touch them.
Shaved vagina- Yes
New Perfume- Maybe
Scented lotion- We'll notice if you stop using it
Hair color change- Yes
Getting your ends clipped- no
Hairstyle change- yes
Accessories on the head or neck- yes
Accessories on the wrists or hands- not unless it's a bunch of bracelets or a wedding ring
The addition of glasses- Yes
The subtraction of glasses- not always
Color contacts- Yes

Not really actually. I don't notice things like nails, accessories, small hair color changes, etc.
That's why I actually have always found it ironic how much time girls will spend on these minor things, since I know most guys could care less or at the very least don't really even notice it.
I think deep down half of looking goof for women is to impress their own female counterparts. There is so much competition between women to feel hotter than the girl next to them. This is just a tool to do that.
That being said, I'm not advocating you just not give a sh*t what you look like, and I'm sure in a subconscious way we notice these things, as in, they add to your overall look. I just don't think we notice them outright. We're not analyzing every hair and spec of your body. If you painted your nails with some cool design, most likely I'll never notice unless you point it out.
Also I should not that your relationship to the guy can influence this. If the girl is my GF, I'm going to notice more things, simply because I'm around her more often, and because I'm more intimate with her (not necessarily sex). In other words, random guys that are in the room with you might not notice your nails, but your Boyfriend might simply because he might be holding your hands, cuddling with you, sitting next to you. He simply in a position to get a closer look at these things.
Yes but not to all small things. But we will evaluate you at the end based on how pleasant you are . If you have an attractive character and your hygiene .
What I am trying to say here is that if you still to ''basic'' healthy management of your body , you don't have to impress us with extra small things. A pleasant character and a sweet smile is enough to get the attraction ice ball rolling. At the end of the day what attracts me to a girl is an attractive face, her smile, pleasant character and an average body. No girl should be obsessed with being a model like figure or stuff like this. Embrace a healthy life style and be happy and attraction will follow.

I can't usually put it all together nope and I'll admit I don't notice like a new nail polish or a new purse. I just expect a girl to play around with her looks. The thing I do notice is her mood and how she feels about the way she looks. And in general I've noticed that the cuter you look (to yourself) the cuter you are to me. For me, just getting a new haircut before a date makes me feel so much better about myself and I hate going out with a girl still stressing about her hair or make up not being "just right."
Well these are external things and these things don't matter in long term,Instead there is nothing more attractive and sexy to a man than a strong, confident and secure woman. This type of woman has done her inner work. She feels good about who she is and is comfortable in her own skin. She does not have to be gorgeous, rich and famous, but she does have to live her life from a place of meaning and purpose. That purpose can be anything as long as it means something to her. She is the type of woman that has not waited around for Prince Charming to rescue and build a life for her. Instead she created her own personal kingdom. As Mr. Right comes along, she finds a way to merge their worlds without giving up everything she has created. This means she does not drop her friends, family and life purpose simply to become a part of his world. She knows how to blend the two without losing herself.

But none of that matters IMO. I'll tell you something that seemed small that made me so happy that NY at the time girlfriend did.
Whenever I'd go over, I'd bring a 20oz bottle of soda (Pepsi or mt dew) or I'd stop at like McDonald's and buy one. One time I went over and didn't have one and she was like "ooo I got a surprise for you". She had bought me a one liter bottle for when I was over there. She didn't keep soda in her house, ever. It was inky kike a buck or two but it meant a lot. That's something I really noticed that seemed trivial.
Oh I do notice those things - and sometimes my wife hates me for that :D
I still remember when she put on some lipstick for the first time since I knew her, I said: "That's not your color" :D Well, buying her a really nice one solved this issue ;)
Painting nails I also notice because I'm very keen on the health question in this. I just think, it's not good to do it too often and with too strong color (not the tone of the color but the content).
And yeah, soft hands and feet or lips is something I latest feel, when she gets it going ;)
Only if I am very interested in the girl or a very close female friend will I notice if she gets a haircut, new style, new dress, painted nails, etc.
but I typically don't notice these things unless its a significant or 'fitting' change, I say fitting change as sometimes there is something small that changes and I notice as it somehow suites her/fits her personality or style better
No. Unless you change something a lot, like a blond becoming a brunet, we are not likely to notice. You girls worry about stuff that we will never notice or care about. I read somewhere that some women actually have surgery to have their toes shortened. I have never known a guy that was all like "Ewww I can't sleep with her. She has long toes."

I notice some of the small things
1. Nails painted
2. Hair style. I can never tell when you girls cut it...it always looks the same.
3. Anything you do around the eyes
4. Make-up...preferably when it's not overdone
I do notice other things, but honestly what draws my attention most is how the girl acts towards me.
Guys in general don't pay a lot of attention to anklets,and bracelets, hair color changes, and such things. But I think people put a lot of their individuality into these accessories. I mean, every woman has those big features you mention...the personality is expressed in those little pieces of stone and those strips of cloth.
I'm a very detailed oriented guy, I always when something is different on ca girl. If she is a friend I will say say something about it, or even a stanger. Yet, if its my crush it's a little harder then that lol, but workking on that. It all really determins on the guys frame of mine, and he taked the time to notice you and not your breast lol.
Oh yeah, absolutely! I love it when my girl is getting dressed up nicely, or puts on a new nail polish or different make up or buys new sexy underwear. I know she is doing it to please me and I totally love it and tell her, or get her little presents in return. I also groom myself in order to look good for her.
Sure I do, indeed I appreciate the small things more then I tend to appreciate the big stuff. A woman who takes the time and effort to handle the small things shows to me she has good attention to detail, cares enough about things to try to make a difference, and respects me enough to think that I might notice them.
For every facet of life, it's the small things that mean the most. I know I notice the small things, except I'm bad with hair cuts unless she drastically changed her hair style lol. Many guys lack the sensory acuity to pick up on small things though, nor do they care about nails or a new bracelet or something. Depends on the guy, those who are generally observant of things pick up on the small stuff.
Usually I do. A lot of times though the changes are so minimal that I sometimes will doubt myself and be like oh did she dye her hair? It looks like it but I'm not sure so I guess I won't say anything and look stupid Sometimes girls will change their hair color from brown to just a little bit more brown. lol What do you think if a guy says oh it looks like you painted your finger nails, they look so nice. Is she going to be like yeah I did that two months ago, you just now notice? Or will she appreciate the gesture even if I'm wrong?
Yes, I notice these things. I do notice painted nails mostly because I'm not a big fan of them. I prefer the natural look. If she's wearing make-up, I'll notice, again, because I'm not a big fan of it.
I do notice hair styles. I do like when she does different things with her hair. Hair color, how can you miss this one? Soft hands and feet, OH YES.

No, not only do we not pay attention to them, we often don't see them at all.
The phrase I like to use, is that such minor things are beneath our perception threshold. A woman who comes home with a new hairdo or new ear-rings, is pissing into the wind if she expects her chap to realize the change.
I went out with a girl and we were watching a movie, one thing led to another and she unzipped my jeans...as we were watching the movie she was rubbing my d-ck the whole time, some girls have really nice soft hands, I asked her and she said it's just lotion but I've had plenty of other girls stroke my d-ck and their hands weren't as soft!
And I can't speak for all guys but I do notice little designs on the nails that some girls do, kinda cute...
Yeah, of course! I pay attention to all that stuff. I don't really care as much about boob size, butt, etc. It makes things a lot easier if you can see the little things about a girl and tell a lot about the kind of person she is and of things about her. It makes life easier for the future. Accept my friend request by the way ha ha :)
Yes, I notice all of them. I've even kind of particular to let her know when I really like something. If I really like seeing her a certain way, I don't mind paying for the upkeep. Perfume, nails, hair, clothes, all of it lol.

Yes, I remember great detail from a lot of girls, hair cuts, to different bracelets, earrings, and shoes.
They often, are surprised how well, I listen, understand an pay attention to detail.
we don't pay attention to silly things like nails and jewelry. here's what we pay attention to in no particular order: your face, your hair, your body (which of course includes boobs an butt).
Clothes can make a difference in your looks but it's not so much the clothes themselves, rather it's how good they make your body look. in other words tight jeans look better than baggy jeans because they flatter your figure better.
I look at her nails.. I've seen far too many nice looking girls with really bad looking nails.. if you are going to leave chipping nail paintings at least fix it up before you leave home!
I'd notice them, but that doesn't mean I like them. As long as a girl's hair looks clean and nice I don't care about make-up and that sort of thing.
