How observant are guys?

This guy usually sees me every day but he hadn't in a week so today he came up to me and said, "Hey! I haven't seen you in a while."

In situations like this, not just mine in particular, but do guys usuaully notice things like that or comment on it? I know girls pick up on a lot of that

It varries a lot in guys, and I mean a lot. It really depends on the guys attention span. Its entirely possible that he really hasn't noticed you, I would shove it under the rug as careless negligence, don't worry.
