What do I do and why is he obviously still interested in me but won’t say sorry?

How do you deal with a man who hurt you and is trying to get close after you distanced yourself, but he isn’t saying sorry?

He’s a coworker so we have to interact at work occasionally. He says hi when he sees me. I say hi back. Sometimes he offers me help or tries to say a joke. But I don’t get why he can’t say sorry since he clearly still likes me since he’s saying hi. He also will go out his way to look at me too at times.

How did he hurt you? I would say this tell him how you feel and how he made you feel. You cannot force him to say sorry but you can interact with him in professional, curious, and civil manner while also having boundaries.

Just continue saying hi to each other and lower your expectations for wanting him to apologize. Just be co-workers and don’t get close to him again. Ignore him other than what is required for the job.
