He said I remind him of his sister, but his actions say otherwise?

I have a coworker that I've started to unexpectedly admire more than platonically. We never exchanged phone numbers, social media or anything. We just chat it up at work everyday now.

At one point, he stated that when someone asked him about he felt about me shortly after we met, he said he saw me as just the team lead, before we started buttingheads. Once we became civil and cool, he told someone else that i remind him of his sister and being with me would be like engaging in incest. I understood and respected that without too much thought.

However, recently I've noticed that he's showing "signs" that he may be interested in me more than platonically but he's also stated what his type of woman he's into. I don't fit that description. It's a confusing feeling I have.

He's been touching me more (arm touches, hugged me for the first time), displaying his body off to me specifically (showcasing his muscles and chest to me), he's been protective of me towards other coworkers, he said i was the only person in his life currently that got him a Christmas gift and he was so excited to get it, I've noticed he looks at me a lot (making direct eye contact and glances when he thinks im not paying attention). He makes sure im included in group conversations. He's asked me personal questions (and a few sexual ones). He stands by me a lot and displays open body language (facing me or sitting with his legs open). He's come to me to vent about his personal issues. He doesn't like when im not feeling well or crying. He doesn't mind me touching him (fixing his clothes, touching his hand) he makes sure he comes to speak to me when he clocks in. He makes me laugh.

Am I reaching or do I have solid ground to believe he's interested?
