Why might a guy be completely unaware of how often he’s looking at you?

Could that happen? As if he is compelled to? Is that person he stares at that he finds highly attractive?

Guys are visual creatures and if they see a pretty girl, they will notice. However, if they have a lot on their mind, it’s possible he is simply thinking and his eyes happen to look in your direction.

If he finds you attractive, he might be subconsciously drawn to look at you. This can happen without him actively thinking about it.

I'm guilty of this. I could not keep my focus off of her. I used to see her at the same spot all the time, until she wasn't there anymore. I kept looking at the spot she used to be in, but she was never there. Before, I knew I found her attractive. I didn't realize how much. Looking back on it, all of my behavior towards should have made it obvious I had/have a massive crush.
