I started a new job in the last almost 2 months and started talking to someone when we see each other he gets all happy and smiley. At first I was extremely shy and I told him and he goes just go at your pace. I've caught him staring at me a couple different times and when we message I'm usually the only one that messages first but he has heart reacted to a few different messages. He also just got out of a relationship about 4 to 5 months ago. Does he like me as a friend or more?

I will say that it’s very possible but I understand that nothing is a guarantee but I will say that if you’re interested then you need to take initiative to both express your feelings and see if he’s willing to go on a date such as getting coffee.

Remember, attraction can come and go. So while he may be interested now don’t assume you’re the only one who likes him or that you’re the only girl around him. You just never know who else could catch his attention and he moves on.

Especially at work many are nervous about approaching someone at work and may just abandon the feelings all together to find someone somewhere else.

I will say at the end of the day while it’s probable he likes you. If you’re rejected number one you have closure. Number two you will be able to move on and not waste your time on someone whose never going to make a move on you anyways.

Last thing you want though is to be sitting there one day. To find him with someone else…. Knowing you probably had a chance at one point but waited around too long. You’ll see them all happy together. And…. That will be on you.

He could be just a friendly guy, heart reacting is a normal social thing now a days. You’d have to give him a signal or something and see because in this situation it’s hard to tell.
