Why did he called me so much? is this a red flag?

I hit it off with this guy on a dating app. I gave him my number yesterday and we face time til midnight. It was going so well. We even kiss through face time for NY time. But at the end got a little weird because I feel like he was distracted texting whoever it was (assuming girls). I told him the first time ima go since he seem distracted texting someone. He said no and he wanna talk, but he kept doing it… so I said ima go sleep. Then he called me at 3am, 7am, 8am (total of 5 missed calls), I’m sooo damn confuse why so many calls and so early? Was he trying to be sweet to say good morning? Is he secretly taken and the girl is calling me? I feel so weird, confuse, and paranoid.

I dont know if it was his girl calling you but if I had to guess he knew something was wrong and he wanted to try to get you back

He bit his lip while texting others and barely pay attention to what I was saying when he did that though. I feel like it has to be other girls. It’s a bit rude & weird in my opinion. It’s like going on a date but texting someone while you’re supposed to pay attention and get to know each other.

Well maybe you’re right, but he should’ve realized it the first time I mentioned it… but he kept doing that… and only chose to call me 2-3 hours later… he messed up his chance… because during our face time he talked about meeting up with me because he said we have the best conv he have in a while with anyone on the dating app, and I was so down because we vibe and had a lot in common. So it’s disappointing but time to move on when someone didn’t care the first time when I express concern, it only makes me feel like he’s gonna keep doing that..

At first he said it was his sister. Then he kept doing it and bit his lower lip. I said looks like he’s distracted texting whoever so ima go. He said no he still wanna talk. Then I brought it up again. He still continue and seem distracted where he even messed up saying “no I’m texting you” but it continue. So yeah I felt weird and ignore. I’m sure he can’t be distracted like that with family.
