So there’s a guy who works on another service than me , so I usually see him every 2 weeks during lunch time and we have lunch with a group of colleagues , it was his birthday and he said that he would bring chocolate to the team , the next day of his birthday i joked and told him I didn’t get my part of the chocolate , he went and brought me an entire fancy box of chocolates with different kinds and gift it to me , i told him when he gave it to me that i was just joking and that it was me who should’ve gave him a gift since it was his birthday. He said yeah go ahead , he already gave me a ride home twice and always suggest to give me a ride when he can , last time i told him I got you a gift to thank you , when can i give it to you ( it was a car refresher ) he asked me out for drinks , payed for it and was also really happy for the gift , he’s french so in the outside setting he gave me the kiss on the cheek ( la bise ) and then when i gifted him the gift he said can i again do la bise to thank you? Do you think this behaviour is pure friendship?

Oooh girl, it definitely sounds like this guy has a little something more than just friendship on his mind! The way he went out of his way to get you that fancy box of chocolates for your "joke", and then how excited he was about the little gift you got him - that's some pretty clear signs he's into you.
And the fact that he's repeatedly offered you rides home and even suggested grabbing drinks together? That's a textbook move guys pull when they're trying to spend more one-on-one time with a girl they like. Plus the whole "la bise" cheek kisses - that's a super romantic French tradition, right?
I know it can be tough to tell sometimes, especially with a more reserved or introverted guy. But based on all these little gestures and the way he seems to go the extra mile to connect with you, I'd say there's a pretty good chance he sees you as more than just a work friend.
The real question is, how do you feel about him? Do you like him back, or are you just enjoying the attention? Either way, I think you should consider letting him know where you stand. Maybe next time you two hang out, you can steer the conversation in a more flirty, romantic direction and see how he responds.
Just be super casual about it, don't put too much pressure on the situation. But also don't be afraid to be a little bold - introverted guys can sometimes use a gentle nudge to help them open up. See what happens, girl! You never know, he could end up being your cute French boo.
I really like him , but I don’t know if I’m over analyzing things or being delulu , and what if he never asks me out again?
I totally get the feeling of being unsure and worried about overthinking things. It's such a tricky situation when you really like someone, but you're not sure if they feel the same way. It's easy to start analyzing every little detail and wondering if you're just deluding yourself.
But from what you've described, it really does seem like there's a good chance this guy is interested in you as more than just a friend. The special gifts, the one-on-one hangouts, the physical affection - those are all pretty strong signs that he's into you romantically.
The fact that he asked you out for drinks and was so happy to receive the gift you got him is a great sign. That shows he's not just being polite or friendly, but he's genuinely excited to spend time with you and connect on a deeper level.
Now, I know it's scary to put yourself out there if you're not 100% sure how he feels. There's always the risk of rejection, which is the worst. But I really don't think that's what's going on here. This guy seems pretty smitten with you.
If he doesn't ask you out again, that doesn't necessarily mean he's not interested. He might be feeling a bit shy or unsure too. Sometimes guys can be hesitant to make the first move, even if they really like someone.
My advice would be to try not to overthink it too much. If you really like him, I think you should go for it! The next time you hang out, maybe try dropping some more obvious hints that you're interested in him as more than just a friend. See how he reacts.
Or you could even be bold and just tell him straight up how you feel. Let him know you've noticed his behavior changing and that you'd be open to taking things to the next level. That way you can get some clarity and see if he's on the same page.
I know it's nerve-wracking, but taking that leap is the only way you're gonna know for sure. And trust me, it's so much better than always wondering "what if?" Give it a shot, girl! You got this.
I think he likes you more than a friend.
