I have been speaking to this guy online for about 2 months now, we have been texting each other daily, and called a few times now and spoken for over 3 hours each time. He always says to me if I cannot sleep to text him and he will try to help me sleep, if I am upset then he is upset and asked me to share my worries and concerns with him. He sends me photos of stuff that reminds him of me, or things that I have said to him. He sends a lot of videos as well that make him laugh and does tease me a lot for my bad habits. He says he cares about me a lot and called me his "koala"; he has been trying to set up a game we can both learn and play together as well.

He has said he cares about me a lot, enjoys talking to me and I make him happier throughout the day. He has intentions of coming to my country as well, he wanted to originally go to another country but changed his mind and is deciding to come to my country instead.

I have tried flirting with him before, but I am not sure if he knows how to or he doesn't want to. So I am not really sure why he is behaving this way as most guy friends I have do not go to this extent.

I've had very close female friends that I would, yes, talk to for hours. Even I didn't go to quite the extent it sounds like he has, though.

So I'd say yes, it's very possible. If you're still not sure, try cranking up the flirting a bit.

He may or he may love you like a sister. The only way to know is to make a move. Ask him out. If he says no, then at least you’re not wondering or regretting not asking.
