This guy I work with says he's not looking to date anyone until he gets his life together. Like get an apartment, get his EMT certification, etc. which is completely understandable. However, he always says hi and wants to talk to me when he sees me, he’ll sometimes ask where I'm going jokingly, and Whenever I tell him I'm clocking out he gets sad and says he doesn't want me to leave because he has "no one else to talk too." He even told me a scenario where I'm with a group of girlfriends and described me as the "pretty friend" in that group who he would try to hit up. I was having a fun conversation with him one day and his response was “see this is why I like you.” Soooo I'm a little confused about his feelings here lol

I think he is trying to figure out life and where he wants to go with it... such as a career or a relationship. How old is he? Does he have a girlfriend that may make things more complicated? Maybe he is new to girlfriends/relationships, is a nervous virgin (nothing wrong with that). You may have to take the initiative and just ask him out or hand together... what are your thoughts?

Yeah I agree. He’s 25, him and his girlfriend broke up months ago, and they’ve only dated for a little while. I remember asking for his Snapchat before I knew he was already taken, and he kindly rejected saying he doesn’t use it. I don’t think I want to bother him for his number again after that. So I’m just waiting to see what happens.

Well if you asked him out and that’s his answer. Sorry dear that’s rejection. He may like you. I have no idea. It’s definitely possible.


If you made a move and either expressed clear interest or asked him out… You shot your shot. If he’s into you. He will come around.
