Why does he randomly text me even when it seems like he doesn’t have a specific reason?

I’ve been dating online since December and had some good and bad experiences. Twice now, guys I dated said they weren’t ready for a relationship and then later reached out months later, asking how I’m doing. One even regretted the way things ended but still didn’t want a relationship. Why do guys do this, and how should I handle it?

My guess is you're swiping right on guys who are out of your league. They like you enough to hook up but will never want to commit to you (and even if they did, they'd be horrible partners, cheating, lying, etc.).
