Does married guy at work like me?

Just to be clear, there are NO intentions on acting on this.

He has a wife. We work in the same department and his wife works in another department.

As far as I’m aware, it’s just a mutual attraction we both have. A lot of eye contact and a tease every now and then. A bit of excitement at work and nothing more.

Recently, it feels more intense his side. Such as, I can see him in the corner of my eye just gazing at me when I’m not looking. He stops what he’s doing like he’s in a trans when I walk by. I’m more than sure some people know he likes me as I hear them talking about it and they stop talking when I walk in the room. They also get him to sit next to me at our department socials.

We had a works do which his wife also attended. She was with her department and he was with us. Every time she walked past, I could see him looking at me, as if he was trying to see if I was reacting (which I wasn’t.)

We then had a moment when we both just stared at each other with “those eyes” whilst he was next to his wife. Now it just feels awkward between the two of us whenever we speak to each other.

Obviously, I can’t ask him what’s going on as it’s disrespectful to his wife.

Does he like me? Is it all in my head?
