I can't forget him?

I confessed my feelings to him a year ago, but I still can't forget him. Deep inside, I keep hoping that maybe one day he will love me because he never clearly rejected me. He never explicitly said he wasn't interested. He just said, "Yes, it's a difficult situation, I understand you."

I'm so tired. Every time I try to forget him, I end up back at square one. I just can't move on.

I don't see him as often as before because we started working in different departments. But when we do cross paths, we sometimes make eye contact, and his friends often look at me too. Even these small things give me hope.

What should I do?

And focus on yourself, girl! Throw yourself into your work, your hobbies, your friends - anything to keep your mind occupied. The more you can build a full, fulfilling life without him, the easier it'll be to finally let him go.

I know it's gonna be hard, but you gotta rip that bandaid off. Keep reminding yourself that you deserve so much better than someone who can't even give you a straight answer. You got this!
