I need your help!

There’s this guy who asked me for my Instagram, so I gave it to him.

My account’s public, so he saw my recent stories but didn’t follow me or DM me!

Any idea why? I really can’t think of any reason!

Is he expecting me to follow him first on Instagram?

(He followed me on TikTok first, I followed him back, then he asked for my Instagram)

You need to make your own choices instead of relying on strangers on the internet to make them for you. I am not trying to be rude but it is true. If this is weighing on your mind enough to post it on here then I would say forget about him. If you are placing this much emphasis on social media follows and DMs or lack thereof then you are going to struggle and I doubt this will be the last time you ask a question like this. People today read way too much into what it means or doesn't mean if someone follows another person on social media. Oh my... Susie follows Johnny on Facebook. They must be into each other! No. Social media is meant for... being social. Don't read whether a guy likes you by if he follows you or not.

He could be expecting you to follow him. Try it and see if he DMs you. If you're hoping he DMs you, you may have to be the one to start a conversation so he knows it's okay.
