Should I forget about him all together?

Anonymous

I was married when I met this guy and he was in a relationship. It was clear we both got on and had an instant click and attraction however we both ignored and carried on as friends as we’re worked for the same company in different departments we saw each other regularly. He split up with his girlfriend and expressed he ha feelings for me. Until this point I had pushed those thought aside and focused on the fact that I was married. I did have feelings for him but didn’t tell him that I said I’m married with a small child. He remained single and we still had a weirdly good relationship we had the same sense of humour and morals and upbringings really he was everything I had ever looked for previously just a genuinely nice guy that everyone can’t help but like. Fast forward I am now divorced and feelings for him have resurfaced and become stronger but he is now starting to date someone else🥺 their not in a serious relationship just starting to date and talk. Things between us feel obviously awkward, we still get on so well but when alone there’s a tension. Do I say anything or would it be selfish. Should I just let him carry on and be happy with her unaware of how I really feel?
