He seems like a weird guy and I think you should have just broken things off at the first questionable comment. You’re not making it any better by making snide comments like “oh who hurt you” I feel like you both have toxic tendencies but the only person you can control is yourself. Just feel sorry for someone and move on.

But yeah he’s probably narcissistic and was using you. He doesn’t sound like someone whose able to make a genuine connection with another person. A lot of the extremes of being a kiss up or being the way he is is just signs of someone not being genuine. A lot of times kiss ups are masking their true intentions but he’s just telling you them.

I blocked him because there was two other big red flags. Such as no proper date since December & excuses entertaining other girls with “we’re seeing each other not dating” and based on past experience I don’t believe it’s 100% a joke.
