I wouldn't mind, as long as she just smoked once in a while.
I smoked a lot from my late teens through my 30s, but I was very active and productive. The only downside was, I spent a lot of money on it.

I like the smell and the buzz.

I just wouldn't want someone who was a stoner and spent her life like Cheech and Chong, sitting around getting high. But the occasional puff is okay with me.
It's the same with alcohol. There's nothing wrong with a drink now and then, but drinking all the time and/or being a drunk is unacceptable.

I like it (i domt smoke weed) but it makes people content with their position in life, if a girl is content with me im happy, if she spends a lot of money on it, okay we have to ease back a little, but whatever makes you feel happy if thats what brings it then im happy for you, i think we are at a day and age were there isn't much judgment towards people who smoke, everone has their vices, its a hard world, wouldn't think your dumb, or anything like that, can we still do other stuff too? Then why would i care?

I smoke weed, so it wouldn't be a bad thing for me. The biggest thing is that I would need to see that she has her act together. People who smoke weed tend not to be a particularly action-oriented crowd. I would need to see that she is a proactive and productive person.

For context, I'm a filmmaker, serial entrepreneur, lawyer, and venture capitalist. So I'm definitely not a layabout.

omg these responses are so OUTDATED? my friends (girls and guys) and i all love smoking weed together and we all have gpas 3.8 and above. my friends are incredibly intelligent, participate in service, have campus jobs, in sororities/fraternities, getting insane internships etc...

im sorry but weed does NOT equal laziness?

Depends. How much weed does she smoke and has she got her life together? I don't judge pot users all that harshly. But just like alcohol, weed can become a problem. As long as people are responsible and can function, hold down a job, etc., I don;t attach any more stigma to weed than I do to having a drink on a Friday night after work.

I dated a stoner once. I thought she lacked ambition, was quite spacey, and got the muchies all the time. We had fun, but she wasn't serious about her life and future. We broke up and she started dating someone else who she married shortly after. We didn't keep up after that and I haven't really smoked since we split.

Her choice. But she wouldn’t be my choice. Girls who I have known in school who smoked pot were usually ditzes, slow, didn’t do much. The one girl who I hung out w the most, a th metic, played varsity sports. She just became a ditz. Smart in school. But over time her reaction time just slowed. She always seemed high.
