Is it flattering or weird if a guy you’re talking to is so attracted to you he finds some words you say are hot?

My boyfriend and I are debating if it’s weird if a guy you know and enjoy talking to tells you that when you say something not particularly sexual like “ferrari” is hot to him, or in a normal convo he gets hard just listening to you talk because he’s so attracted and into you and you like talking to him too. He says it’s weird, I say it’s flattering.

It's mostly in his head. I think most people realize that, which is why people find it a bit weird and icky. Because it's not really anything they're doing to cause that. I know I've had women who've had crushes on me and it didn't matter what I said. She was drawn like a mother to a flame. It's hormones, nothing more.
