Why would a guy who has a new girlfriend keep making intense eye contact and flirt with me?

A guy I know seemed to like me a while ago, but due to circumstances he’s moved on and got a new girlfriend. However I notice he still checks me out, engages in intense eye contact and seems like he’s happy to be with me when talking, he leans in close. What’s going on?

First of all most men aren’t cheaters because most men, about 80% aren’t even considered good looking by a majority of women. So how can a majority of men be cheaters when more than a majority of men don’t even get a chance to be w a woman. They can’t be. Second, why do women still purchase other cute shoes when they have ones at home. Yes not the best analogy but men like looking as well, some even purchase a “second” pair of shoes.

Honestly that could go either way. He may be looking to “purchase” a second pair of shoes depending on a number of things. Like I’ll admit when I wa stop get I’d still flirt w other women, talk to them, but nothing beyond that. It was just a little spark throughout the day you know. You could clam it cheating or not cheating depending on what your definition of cheating is. What are your thoughts on it? Are you willing to be that “third wheel.” Knowing that he has someone. If not then just keep it professional. Any little reciprocation you give him just reinforces those thoughts in his head. Think to yourself if you were in his girl’s shoes how would you feel about him doing this. Men will always glance, take a Quick Look, but that to me is expected. I think it’s in a man’s nature. But beyond that as far as the flirting, touching, all those extra things, that goes beyond just window shopping.

Yes I know what you mean, Yes I wonder if this is just normal flirting eg the leaning in close or beyond that. He’s done that a lot more in the past whereas he just looked before. I wouldn’t be happy if I was in girlfriend no.

I’m sure he wants to touch you. But he won’t because it sounds like he actually has set some boundaries. Obviously not a boundary that prohibits flirting, but physically yes it sounds like it. Plus you don’t want to be the other woman in this situation. Because who knows if you did go through w it later on down the line he could do the same to you. If he was single trust me he’d go for. A lot of men befriend cute women that we’d sleep w.

Yes I get that, but I guess the thing is I really like him and he knows that, so it’s a bit painful to see him flirting, whilst I just found out he has a new girlfriend who he’s been seeing for 4 months.
