I posted a pic of my date and his hands were showing in the pic and guy I use to talk to is on my instagram he replied to the story saying that his tattoos are ugly? But I don't know if he meant it as a joke but Why?

He’s saying that cause he’s more than likely jealous. So he’s trying to make you feel somehow about this dude, to plant a seed that maybe you won’t date him. I e never heard men say other men’s tattoos are ugly. Something like that seems more feminine to say. A man might say something like dude’s tats are garbage, fucking stupid ass tattoos. But today ugly seems more like a feminine person would say. So I think he’s trying to get you to not like the dude I directly by saying things about him. Picking away at him, planting seeds like I said.
