I think that we seek out the love that we feel we deserve. If we keep entering into chaotic relationships, at some point we need to put the blame on ourselves. If we don't love ourselves, how can we expect to love others or find others who love us in a healthy way?

If we lack self-respect, it will be hard to find others who respect us. This is why confidence is so attractive to everyone.

Not necessarily, if you don't respect yourself you are more likely to get used or hurt by someone. If however you decide your shit don't stink and we are all beneath you, that won't get you respect, more likely distain.

It depends on the man and depends on the women. There is both men and women I respect as well as plenty I don’t. It comes down to character then who you’re born as.

Just because she has self respect doesn't mean she will be respected. If she lacks self respect she won't be respected though.
