I have his number after 14 years?

I have this guys number who him and I were in the talking stage of “dating”. I messaged him on Facebook 5yrs ago but don’t know if he got it because it might of went to message requests ir he’s flat out ignoring me. I randomly found his number last year and texted it a couple of months ago to see if it was him. They said it was but that’s where he and I left it. He didn’t ask who I was.
Do you think that was real weird? Do you think he thinks it was me? It’s been 14 years since he gave me his number. We just kind of drifted from talking back then.
