What could he feel for me?

I once asked my always “friend” if he would come to me for coffee before the night shift. He said that if he could, he would come after training. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it, but somehow I felt sad that we wouldn’t meet and so I wrote me a message “NAME, I have to go home now, good luck at work.” He wrote me back shortly “I’m outside by the car”. We met by the car, he said that he was solving some problem with the car and while his colleague was doing something on the car, he talked to me. He asked me like this “and you, what about mine?” His voice was so gentle and kind that I was amazed and even more so when he waved at me as we left. I parked the car and when he saw me approaching, he waved at me beautifully, it felt like a boy in love, while his whole body completely turned away from his car and the colleague who was helping him with the repair just to wave at me. Less than two days later I asked him about the possibility of going to the thermal baths, and then he told me that we would make an appointment. When the time for the baths was approaching, I asked him how he felt about it and he said that he wouldn't be able to make it because he had a lot of training that day and wouldn't find the time there, but he literally told me: "We can go another time if you want". What should I think about his behavior and feelings?
