Why a guy walks faster instead of beside you, what does it mean?

I went to an event where I felt I looked beautiful. and many people were complimenting me. His sisters are my friends, and he knows me because of them. While we were chatting and taking pictures with his sis, he seemed relaxed. When I couldn't locate his sis, I asked him for help. At first, he was hesitant, but I didn't know what else to do, so I somewhat pushed him to help me. Eventually, he did assist me, but he was walking much faster than I was, which left me wondering. After a few minutes, we finally found his sisters. When I turned to thank him, he walked away without responding.😒I feel sad. I wonder why he did that. I think it’s very disrespectful.
