Guys, Why would a man start slowing down his walking pace as he saw me coming on or walking beside him?

Thsi guy in my college class was walking infornt of me and then when he turned his head and saw me I ntocied he slowed down his walking pace abit and then I ended up walking ifnront of him cause I needed to be somewhere so I was quite focused on where I was going. I just thought it was weird, subtle but weird. We've been in the same college class for 3 years, we're not friends but we've spoke a couple of timee and are friendly with other in terms of the occasional greetings.

In most cases people tend to overthink things. I would probably assume it was nothing solely based on your testimony. Did you notice whether there was any action or circumstances that might have caused him to slow down? E. g. Checking his phone?

It's definitely possible that he wanted to have a look (if you know what I mean) hence why he slowed down. But, as a guy, that seems far too blatant of a move just to catch a glimpse lol. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt in all honesty.

Ahh well, if it was blocked then I'd guess he just slowed down for one reason or another. Who knows maybe he pooped his pants and was nervous with you walking behind him 🤣🤣

Okay doubt that🤣 but I read somehwer that men slow down their walking aoce aorund women they are attracted to, just wanted to know from a guy's point of view if that is at all true? cause he was kinda awkward about it

Hmm, I wouldn't say that's accurate as a general statement that can be applied to all guys but I'm sure it happens. As for why they might potentially do so, my best guess is that looking at a girl they fancy might come off as creepy especially if they're caught staring. So they look at the girl's back as its less risky. The guy is attracted to the girl, looking at her whether it be her front or back is the same.

But he barely speaks to me, ic ant explain it, he literally awkwardly slowed done his person the moment he ntocied I was right behind him. Also when we both got to a door at the beginning of a stairwell at the same time, I basiclaly stopped to allow him tow all before me as a kind gesture and with his body language he kind of refused my gesture by standing still next to me and basically waiting for me to walk first.

You know hey, I was having a convo with a group of girls that were sitting infornt of him and he was seated right behind them. I forgot the name of this plsc ei was describing and then out of nowhere ehe inserts himself in the convo and says the name. He barely talks to me but chose to help me out there in a small way, not sure what that means.
