Should men and women sit on different tables?

In my family it’s very much like the men sit with the men and we discuss man things, money/investing/career/politics etc… whereas the women sit on other tables with the kids and discuss their things.

I think men and women shouldn’t sit next to each other because men like to have conversations that women don’t like, women also like to interject often about nonsense sometimes interrupting what we think is important. It’s a mess.

Obviously at home with only your wife it’s different, I get that.

The idea is not totally wrong and I do endorse it.

Basically, in Western society (I don't know about the Eastern one), men tend to talk about women in a derogatory way, sexualize and objectify them, tell dirty jokes, innuendo and sentences with double meanings.

I don't need to hear that gossip, knowing that the discussion is done with their primary brain between their legs and seldom with their secondary one between the ears.

I abhor that kind of demeaning talk and it is obviously a lack of respect towards women. I have witnessed it more than I care to know.
