Would you ask a girl you only like as a friend to see a picture of her new dress?

We were texting about how our days were going and I told him what I was up to and how I was excited because it was nice out and I got to wear my new dress.

Then he told me that he wanted to see it. Is this something usual to ask a girl that you’re just friends with?

Nothing wrong with that. You can tell a platonic friend that “they look good” as an innocent compliment as well.

But it's more than just the dress I want to see.
Her in it because I want to see her eyes. Her face her smile. I want to see if it makes her happy or how she's feeling that day.

I think you're right. Usually a guy who isn't interested in you wouldn't want to see your dress.

Maybe he's into dresses, but more likely he's into you.

Probably not, but that's just me, I usually prefer girls in pants (especially shorts).
