I'm an autistic guy. Any advice you have on that?

At age 34, you probably know everything there is to know about autism much better than most of us here about the autism spectrum.$

Depending whether your are type 1, 2 or 3, the approach towards people is different. I am aware of a young lady with a type 2 autism that has been affected in her speech and the way she processes information and how she interacts with other people she is not familiar with.

The only advice I have for you is to make others aware that you have a difficult time to integrate what seems easy to those into your life and that you need time and patience. Most people will understand and act accordingly. Good luck.

Yes make the effort to read joke books and memorize some. Then on dates say one, even if you don't feel it is funny. Because it is a sweet way to flirt.
