im mostly referring to situations where the person and you haven't talked much in real life before or are meeting online first via dating apps or social media and then start to have mutual attraction and start talking. what are some ways that the talking stage goes well and y'all get to meet or take the next step from there?

Just hope he makes the first move and suggest you guys meet in person or if you're bold and confident, you suggest meeting in person. That's the only way to get out of the talking stage is to meet and see if the chemistry is there in person because yeah talking online can be great but if you get in person and realize you don't feel anything, then that's so much time wasted. So yeah, if he doesn't make the suggestion to meet up or go on a date, then maybe you try to suggest it.

Then take him on a picnic you made yourself because you're THAT competent at doing sandwiches and soft drinks or wine and cheese and biscuits.
