Weird blocking situation?

Hi everyone, I stopped talking to a guy about a month ago—things were left pretty vague, and since we live far apart, I wasn’t sure if anything long-term would work. During the time we weren’t speaking, I noticed he followed a girl recently, but there’s no clear sign they’re dating—just that he followed her. Then out of nowhere, she messaged me, deleted it straight away, and blocked me on all my accounts, including ones he still follows and my business account too that’s for my work. I’ve never interacted with her, so it felt really random. A week or two after that, he messaged me saying he misses me, thinks about me all the time, and wishes he could spend his birthday with me—while I’m still blocked by her for no reason. I didn’t respond, but I’m genuinely confused—does anyone know what might be going on here? Why is she even blocking me in the first place?

I am a little suspicious here that there may be something going on with your long distance boyfriend and that girl. Possibly not cheating but more like flirting and perhaps even sexting.

The fact that she messaged you was to check you up and to see your reaction. By deleting the message right away and blocking you on all those social media and accounts, she wants to make you feel insecure, something that she has done now.

Now, your long distance boyfriend must have been informed in a way or another and got scared about the way the entire thing has developed.

He is now trying to mellow you up but my personal belief is that he is not as innocent as he may pretend to be. It went further than he would have like it to go with that "flirt".

He might have mentioned you to this new girl, perhaps in a way that made her feel insecure or threatened. Just guessing, of course.

She heard something good about you, like he compared you to her, so she got mad and blocked you. He Realized you are better , so he is trying to reconnect as long distance. Still specify he is friends zone, so you can date locally.
