I just want y’all’s opinions?

So I have a coworker at work he’s younger than me not going to say by how much but it’s enough (he’s legal) but anyways at work he used to pick on me and make sexual jokes, just stuff that a young guy his age would do. But anyway 2 other coworkers told me that said guy liked me. Ok cool. On a side note I’ve had a situationship going on for a few years now and I told the guy that liked me that. Well based off of our convo it was clear he just wanted one thing. I told him I couldn’t because of the guy that I’ve been dealing like I know if I did it I’d lose him and I wasn’t ready for that. The only thing we did was sext that’s it nothing physical. Well at one point when we were texting, the guy who likes me asked if I live alone and I said I used to but the situation ship guy has been living with me. He sent me the facepalm emoji, I asked why and he didn’t want to say. Things were for the most part normal then he just started talking to everyone else at work and ignoring me. I asked him twice like why he was doing that and that it made me feel bad. He basically said that we aren’t obligated to talk to each other that we’re just coworkers and we can do a simple greeting and go about our day. Then I said that it was a mistake talking outside of work and we should’ve just kept it how it was, the jokes and everything at work. Then he unadded me from snap.

So is he mad because he wanted to sleep with me and because I told him no because it would upset the other guy that’s why he all a sudden doesn’t want anything to do with me? Like he did a complete 180 on me. It’s just weird being at work with all that going on, told myself I wouldn’t mess with a coworker but I think honestly I liked the attention and he’s more open sexually than the true guy so for a moment I thought I was getting a better deal.

I am not in a relationship so I didn’t cheat just wanted to make that clear.

Then I also apologized to him that we couldn’t do what he wanted to do because of my situation and that I just didn’t want it to be awkward at work and then just that he made me feel bad ignoring me and talking to everyone else at work. He had left me on opened on that message.

He’s probably mad that you’re still entertaining a situationship and prioritizing it over him. But I’m not really interested in that. I’m more interested in why this situationship is so important to you and why you continue to be involved? Is it because you’re hoping it will grow into something more?

I’m glad you understood what I was saying because the guy below was being stupid.
So long story short me and situationship guy have been doing this for a few years and I do love him very much like this is the man I said I want to marry and be with forever. We’ve had our ups, downs, good and bad, but he’s overall a good guy like he’s done a lot for me and I feel like I have for him. With the guy at work, the age difference is too much and I feel like all I would get out of him is good sex but not something stable and meaningful. Then with him being so young I don’t want to grow him up too fast I’m sure he’s not trying to settle down anytime soon and I’m getting to that age where I’m wanting to in a few years.

Figured as much and I’m starting to feel bad because I hate he feels he has to be like that because I said no
But that wasn’t a consequence I was ready to face losing the other guy because that’s what would’ve happened if he found out I slept with the guy at work.

It doesn't matter that he's upset. He doesn't get to act like an asshole he needs to stay civil. This is disrespectful and childish behavior. If it's that big a deal to him than he needs to change jobs. A real man doesn't do this. If you get shot down, you take it as best you can and try to be respectful and you don't act like a child and throw a tantrum. If anything, you dodged a bullet. I've been in his position and yea it sucks but that's not a license to act like a little shit.

Funny part about it is that he didn’t start acting like that right after I told him no it stayed normal and then over time he started acting different
