Guy's Behavior

I don’t understand his behavior. Does he lose feeling?

I have been hanging out with a guy who is super shy.

We went on date a couple of times and I included him for dinner with my friends once.

All of his actions seems he likes me (he always make sure he is free when I suggest we hang out, strong eye contact, soften voice when we hang out 1 on 1, always make sure if I feel comfortable, squeeze his cheek when we hug, etc.,)

2.5 weeks ago, I told him ‘when you feel like spending time together, I would love to, just let me know’ and he said ‘I will!’ and after that we were texting about each other’s day, then he suddenly got quiet (unread message)!

I didn’t send any texts for 2 weeks coz I thought I should give him space rather than being panicked or get mad at him. Since he is leaving town this weekend (Every half year, he come to our town and goes to different country due to his job), I sent open-ended message saying like ‘have great time’ 2 days ago. He has been checking my social media but haven’t read my recent message yet.

If he lost interest in me, he could just say ‘thank you!’ but he doesn’t either.

Now I’m unsure what to do. Looking for your advice and opinion.
