A few days ago, I met a guy on Hinge. He is in the merchant navy and is 21. He sent me a "Hi." I replied to him, and then he sent me a copy-pasted line. I confronted him, asking where he copied this line from, lol. His reaction was like, "😅 Teach me then.".
He replies to me quickly. When I don't know what to say, he asks me. That's how our convo works, lol. We both are extroverts, but I don't know why he texts carefully. Umm, I guess he doesn't ask me personal questions , he asked me personal questions earlier not now. I yap. I call him "brother" as a joke, and he got annoyed. Then we talked about traveling, and he mentioned another girl in front of me. I got annoyed, and he was laughing. He asked me for my social media, but I don't use social media, lol, so he asked about my WhatsApp indirectly.

I said I don't give my number to strangers as a joke, lol. He said, "Let's talk; if it works, it works; if it doesn't, it doesn't. If it works, then we can talk on WhatsApp." 💀 I annoyed him with another brother joke.

We were talking about the weather, then he went offline for a few minutes. I got annoyed 💀, so I said it directly, lol. He replied to me after a few minutes. Then I said, "Continue your work; I'm going." 💀 Then I ghosted him. I didn't, lol; I'm busy because of my exam, I told him afterwards. His profile says "long-term relationship." He asked me what I'm looking for? 😭
I said short term and he said he is looking for long term not casual type, he isn't interested in it. He never dated anyone. I don't know if it's true or not. He is a merchant navy guy. We have same age

It's just few days. It seems he is interested in you. But you both need to figure out yourself. As you said there is difference in between what you want or what he wants so until and unless you both come on same page, it's nothing.

You both only need to figure out what is it or how much you both are willing to go forward.
