Women use handbags to carry their belongings. What do men use?

Here's my line of thought: It is a known fact that women have handbags to carry all their things like phone, keys, purse and tissues. But what about men? Do you just carry things in your hand and pockets or do you use something else?

Well there are a few methods I employ, it didn't used to be a problem , I could stick my billfold in my back pocket , my keys in the front if I had glasses they were hung from coller or in shirt pocket. this was suitable for nearly any event I might take part in.. but
We all know life has to constantly be "new and improved" or we begin to feel stagnate. along comes cell phones tablets, my wallets grown to accommodate rewards cards, debit cards, credit cards, condoms, single packs of lube, eyeglasses, sunglasses, then, our society learns that our credit and debit cards are at risk from people just walking by, boom now my trusty trifold isn't secure enough , we now have to carry the much thinner security wallet. It jams radar, adds stealth technology to our ATM visits as well as blocking the theft of our personal info, no im not talking about your diary
However, now all the sundry items I once stuffed into the secret compartments of my tri fold now become homeless and take to hanging out in dingy rundown pockets where lint balls roll by like tumbleweed. As su. mmer becomes hot and sunny, the coats we've stuffed our homeless into is now to hot to wear, I pile everything up when leaving the house, and after a failed attempt to carry my entourage I look around seeing an old black handbag, oh well now you know, lol

Men are minimalists whereas women are hoarders. When I leave the house... weapon, wallet, key fob, phone. That's it. And my wallet is minimalist, slightly larger than a credit card and only about 1/4 in (0.635 cm) thick. Yeah, the pocketses are what most guys get by with.

Unless I need to tote a laptop and materials for work. Then I grab a backpack made for that. Or if I'm skiing, I have a Dakine Heli-Pro backpack that can carry 2 pair of skis, an avalanche shovel, extra gloves and clothing, lens changes for my goggles, and some food.

Women on the other hand carry a huge wallet, makeup, lipstick, breath mints and gum, pens, tissues, extra pads, a mirror, hair brush, and who knows what else. But in fairness, outside of jeans, a lot of women's pants don't have pocketses.

Men don't need to carry nearly as much stuff.
I keep my main key ring, a lighter and a small breath spray in my right pocket. There is a small Swiss army knife on the key ring. I keep a second car key, mailbox key and a couple other keys on a second key ring, along with coins, my money clip, and my credit card holder in my left pocket.
That's all I need.
When I'm not wearing my reading glasses, I put them in my shirt pocket or hook them in the collar.
When I carry my phone, I either carry it in my hand or put it in one of my pants pockets. But I don't carry it next to my body any more than necessary due to the radiation. I often just leave it in the car.

Now I have things for every eventuality in my car.

Car keys and house keys in one pocket, maybe some coins in the other. If I go somewhere and won't be driving home straight away, I will leave the house keys in the car. No need to carry those around. Wallet and phone go in a little bag you can sling over your shoulder or carry across the breast. This type of bag probably has a specific name, I can't remember it now.

When on the motorcycle, keys to the bike, plus keys to the chain lock. Documentation for the bike in an inside pocket of my jacket - I always wear a jacket, summer and winter. Wallet and phone go in a sling bag, unless it's winter and my jacket has deep pockets. On large trips, everything goes in a small backpack. With some extra gasoline in a liquid tight bottle.

I sure find myself carrying more and more bullshit these days. I try to leave everything in the car that I can. In my pockets I usually have car keys, cell phone, wallet, and a pocket knife. When I go to work I bring a backpack because I take my cell phone charger, a book, sometime some food, cigarettes, weed pipe, pepper spray, disposable gloves, band-aids, crazy glue, antiseptic, flashlight, fighting knife, and sometimes a gun.

Pants pockets and sometimes jacket pockets are usually enough. If it's not then I can use a backpack or a sports bag when I'm going to exercise. That's covers pretty much all the situations.

My EDCs can all fit in my pockets, or attached to my belt. If I’m going somewhere where I need something better than my phone, I have a laptop bag for that, and extra cables for everything I need.
