He's anything but nonchalant here...
His personality his very nonchalant and he gets mad easily
If he get mad easily he's not nonchalant, to me he sound like a possessive guys who don't give a shitt about you but like he consider you his propriety then he don't want you to getaway until he himself decided to get rid of you. So nothing about being nonchalant it's just that he don't care for you but the possessive / ego side make him want you to stay until he decide he no longer want to play with you
