He said he wants me, what does it mean?

first of all I'm french so excuse my lame english :$..

there's this guy I knew for almost two years but we were not even freinds, we started chating after he moved to another city.. we got so attached to each other very quik, he says he hates that we didn't got close before, that were so like each other, that he thinks about me all the time, that he needs me.. even that last night he said he wants me.. he means the world to me and I can't even tell him, he's already with someone, some of his freinds said that it was just a joke but I want him to tell me that and I don't even have the courage to ask him about it.. I want him so bad but I can't let myself love him, I'm afraid he doesn't feel the same.. does he really care about me ? what should I do about all this ?

he said again how much he cares about me and everything, what frustrated me is when he said that he feels like something is missing in our relationship but he doesn't know what to do about it.. and I have to say that I feel the same, there is really somethnig missing.. should we just stay friends ? when you said "If you can see him never trust your thoughts they cloud you and get in the way. There is somethnig else, on Facebook he is in a relashionship with a girl, I asked some of his friends and they said that he and this girl are just 'messing around' that I it's just 'a joke' that she is 'just his friend'.. can I ask him about that ? or would it scare him ?

Please MrDorke (=P) tell me what to do to make this work ? tell me how I should deal with...

If the only way you can communicate with him is through internet or some other form that is not physical. Don't even date him. I know you really truly like him and he really truly likes you but when it comes to online relationships you only get to know a tenth of how this person really is. You never get to see there facial expressions on how they feel about what you said. You never get to hold the one you like. To top it all off you get to see everyone else hold the one they have feelings for and grow envyous of anyone in a relationship because you want what they got.

I know this is not what you want to hear but hey...those relationships suck.

If you can see him never trust your thoughts they cloud you and get in the way. Trust how you feel and have the courage to speak it.

i thank you for your answer, you bet I wasn't what I wanted to hear but I think you're totally right.. I admire the way you dealed with my issue, and I think I could use some more of your advice.. My feelings for this guy are litterally destroying me, I feel like my heart is going to explode out of my chest, my tummy hurts and I can't concentrate because of him.. we talked (we only talk via internet or textos) and he said again..
